Cookie Policy

1. Cookie bar

Flowlary uses browser storage for sign-in, language, colors, and learning on this device. A cookie bar appears on first visit. Needed storage stays on so the site can work. Language, colors, and learning storage are optional until you accept them or turn them on in Settings.

2. Website storage

• flowlary-cookie-consent: your accept, reject, or settings choice.
• flowlary.web.session: keeps you signed in across tabs (needed).
• flowlary.auth.next: remembers where to go after sign-in (session only).
• flowlary.web.install_id / flowlary.web.install_token: device identity for the Flowlary API (needed).
• flowlary-theme: light, dark, or system colors (optional preference).
• flowlary-locale: English or Arabic (optional preference).
• flowlary.web.account.{id}.ai.consent: Writing Lab AI consent per account (optional product).
• flowlary.web.account.{id}.learning.*: practice, progress, and saved learning on this device (optional product).

3. Extension storage

The extension uses chrome.storage.local (not HTTP cookies) for settings, auth tokens, learning data, caches, and usage state. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Payment partner cookies

When you open Paddle checkout or the customer portal, Paddle may set cookies or use similar technologies on its domains to process payments and prevent fraud. Flowlary does not control Paddle’s cookies.

5. Your controls

• Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject, or change optional storage.
• Clear site data in your browser to reset theme, locale, session, and learning storage.
• Clear extension data or uninstall the extension to reset extension storage.
• Use browser settings to block third-party cookies; checkout may require allowing Paddle domains.
